Shiga Petals began in 1993 as a small flower shop in Erode. At a time when floral design was still unfamiliar in smaller towns, we introduced the idea that décor could tell a story. What started with handcrafted bouquets quickly evolved into a full-service event décor company.
Over the years, we became known for blending tradition with creativity, designing spaces that reflect emotion, culture, and memory. Our growth was driven by one thing - clients returning to us, generation after generation, because they trusted not just our work but our commitment.

Gandhimathi started Shiga Petals with a simple idea: celebrations should feel personal and beautiful. With no formal playbook, she built everything from the ground up, trusting her instincts and focusing on what people really wanted which is authenticity, care, and craft.
She led the shift from standard decorations to meaningful design, while mentoring a team that now works on some of South India’s most cherished events. Known for her empathy, eye for detail, and deep respect for people, she created a company culture where everyone feels valued.
Her legacy is one of quiet leadership and unshakable purpose. Shiga Petals is her life’s work, and her vision continues to guide everything we do.
